Investigate the living world through stop motion animation.
This full day hands-on incursion for Stage 3 starts with students conducting an investigation by collecting invertebrates in their school grounds.
Based on their discoveries students will observe the features and adaptations of an invertebrate in detail. Students will work in groups of two to collaboratively develop a factual script, descriptive storyboard and create models to be used in developing a stop motion animation.
Using an iPad students will create a stop motion animation focusing on the features, habitats and adaptations of their chosen animal.
All equipment provided including iPads and model making resources.
Recommended maximum 3 classes per day.
