The working scientifically skills outcomes of the Ecosystem dynamics module in the NSW Biology Stage 6 Syllabus were a significant factor in the design of this program and resources.

Fieldwork is more than measuring the environment and learning about plants and animals. It uses the opportunity for data collection to guide genuine scientific thinking.

Students are urged the steps and language of the working scientifically skills outcomes diagram below to keep track of where they are in their fieldwork and investigations.
