Special places excursion

HSIE geography - updated for 2024 syllabus

During this Early Stage 1 excursion students will investigate the features of the Field of Mars Reserve, the characteristics of places within the reserve and consider how they can care for them.

Activities and focus areas include Aboriginal stories and knowledge, shelter building, map use, treasure hunts, fun sensory investigations and nature play.

The excursion supports the 2024 focus area People are connected to places.

Recommended maximum 6 classes per day.

Available Term 2, 3 and Term 4 only.
