What is a nature documentary?

A nature documentary is a style of documentary that focuses on animals, plants, habitats, ecosystems and environments.

Some nature documentaries have a presenter while others just feature a voiceover. The voiceover is spoken information.

The information provided in a nature documentary is factual. This spoken information is supported by videos and images that show what is being said.

Activity

  • View The Field of Mars Reserve video.
  • Imagine you are creating a voiceover for this video. Describe some of the habitats found in the Field of Mars Reserve.
