Adaptations incursion
Science and technology - updated for 2024 syllabus
Adaptations is a hands-on Stage 3 incursion that explores the structural and behavioural adaptations of our amazing Australian plants and animals.
Students will explore the natural environments in their school looking for clues of animal and plant adaptations. Students will gain new knowledge as they make inferences of their observations.
Students will used specialised scientific equipment to conduct an in-depth investigation of the adaptations of invertebrates and other species.
Recommended maximum 4 classes per day.
This program is also available as an excursion or as a full day technology focused incursion.
