During this full day Stage 3 incursion students will learn to observe invertebrates and create artworks inspired by their discoveries.
Students will explore the habitats found in the school grounds and safely collect invertebrates.
Using a range of magnification equipment students will get up close and personal with their invertebrates to learn about their features, roles and adaptations.
After careful observation and study of their invertebrate, students will create a variety of artworks. These include observational drawings, ink prints and an artwork on mounted canvas. This will involve the use of a variety of media including rollers, pencils, brushes and acrylic paint.
