How a tadpole transforms into a frog video transcript

Video transcript

How a tadpole becomes a frog.

Mum lays eggs.

Dad watches over them to keep them safe from predators.

They develop over time.

When they're ready to hatch they begin a whole new adventure.

The transformation is called metamorphosis.

His limbs will develop internally and spring out at the last minute.

He still has some growing to do over the next few weeks.

He'll lose his tail by absorbing it back into his body. It's a good food source!

Then he'll be ready to explore the land.
