



Investigate the living world through stop motion animation.
This full day hands-on incursion for Stage 3 starts with students conducting an investigation by collecting invertebrates in their school grounds.
Based on their discoveries students will investigate the features and/or adaptations an invertebrate or another small animal of their choice. Students will work in groups of two to conduct research using a range of multimodal tools, develop a script and storyboard and create models to be used in developing a stop motion animation.
Using an iPad students will create a stop motion animation focusing on the features, habitats or adaptations of thier chosen animal.
All equipment provided including iPads, tripods, model making resources.
