Bush Christmas is an incursion for Early Stage 1 that combines story, song and craft to introduce students to Australian animals and their habitats.
Students will meet some bush invertebrates up close, create their own wrapping paper and clay ornament, and stencil a leaf design onto a calico bag.
The program concludes with the singing of an Australian Christmas song, accompanied by bush percussion instruments.
Please note – if more than one day is required, we would prefer if bookings were made on consecutive days.
Program length approximately 1.5 hours
Maximum 3 program sessions per day (maximum 25 students per session).
Bush Christmas runs in Weeks 7, 8 and 9 of Term 4.
