Adaptations is a hands-on Stage 3 excursion that explores the structural and behavioural adaptations of our amazing Australian plants and animals.
Students will explore the environments of the Field of Mars Reserve looking for clues of animal and plant adaptations. Students will gain new knowledge as they make inferences of their observations.
Students will used specialised scientific equipment to conduct an in-depth investigation of the adaptations of invertebrates in an authentic lab setting.
Recommended maximum 4 classes per day.
