Investigate the living world through stop motion animation. Animals animated is a one day version of Movie Bugs.
This full day hands-on incursion for Stage 1 starts with students conducting an investigation by collecting invertebrates in their school grounds.
Based on their discoveries students will investigate the features of their invertebrates or other local animals. They will conduct research using a range of multimodal tools, develop a script and storyboard and create models to be used in developing a stop motion animation.
Using an iPad students will create a stop motion animation focusing on the features, life stages or habitats of their chosen animal.
All equipment will be provided including iPads, tripods, model making resources.
Recommend maximum 3 classes per day.
