Inspiring the next David Attenborough, Documentary in a day guides students through the process of producing nature documentaries. Turning informative text into an engaging audio-visual product to educate and entertain.
With no preparation needed students find inspiration for their documentaries in the natural beauty of our bushland reserve. Scripts and storyboards are prepared and filmmaking techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary are demonstrated.
After pre-production, students seek out visually appealing video content to support their prepared text. To edit, students follow a success criteria using expert tips and our portfolio of emotive music. A movie screening ends the day.
All resources and equipment provided including iPads, tripods, microphones, reflectors and digital multimodal texts.
