Dressed as rangers, Stage 1 students will be introduced to Field of Mars as a home to Sydney’s native animals. Students will go on an adventure to investigate 'backyard buddies' and their habitats, searching for birdlife and other amazing bush animals.
Using specially created maps, the student rangers will locate habitat areas that need to be improved. Rangers will engage in fun and creative activities that will enhance and create habitat for wildlife.
This excursion has been designed to provide fun and engaging experiences for students that lead to improved habitats. Students will create their own mini national park and help build an insect hotel.
Recommended maximum 6 classes per day.
