Dressed as rangers, Stage 1 students will be introduced to Field of Mars as a home to Sydney’s native animals. Students will go on an adventure to investigate 'backyard buddies' and their habitats, searching for birdlife and other amazing bush animals.
The student rangers will locate habitats of native animals in the reserve. Students will design and create their own mini national park and build an insect hotel.
This excursion has been designed to provide fun and engaging experiences for students that lead to improved habitats.
Recommended maximum 6 classes per day.
