How is your local bushland managed for people and the environment?
During this incursion Stage 3 students will undertake geographical inquiry and use geographical tools and instruments in bushland to investigate its features, human influences and natural values.
In the role of environmental officers and reserve visitors, students will undertake investigations into the environmental conditions of the area, link these results to human influences and consider sustainable management strategies.
They will record observations and experiences through maps, photography and field sketches using iPads and other media.
Recommended maximum 4 classes per day.
