Primary English excursions and incursions | K–6 | Field of Mars EEC

Nature provides rich stimulus for vocabulary, imagery, speaking, listening and multimodal composition. Students create poems, scripts and short documentaries using field observations and digital storytelling tools. All programs support the NSW English K–10 Syllabus (2022).

Why choose English at Field of Mars EEC?

What will students do?

  • Generate ideas from real observations and build rich vocabulary for description and explanation
  • Create and publish multimodal texts (e.g., poetry, scripts, short documentaries) using images and sound where relevant
  • Build English vocabulary (Tier 2/3) to shape meaning, audience and purpose
