Stage 3 excursions | Years 5–6 | Field of Mars EEC

Stage 3 (S3) excursions provide hands-on environmental learning for Year 5 and Year 6 students.

Led by qualified NSW Department of Education teachers, students investigate bushland, waterways and local environments through creative arts, English, HSIE, PDHPE, HPGE and Science and Technology programs.

Excursions build fieldwork skills, critical thinking, teamwork, sustainability understanding and confidence in learning outdoors.

An HSIE excursion where Stage 3 students investigate natural and human processes that shape places, including weathering, erosion, land use and environmental change.

This program will retire at the end of 2026.
