Stage 3 excursions | Years 5–6 | Field of Mars EEC

Stage 3 (S3) excursions develop Years 5 and 6 students’ fieldwork skills, critical thinking and understanding of sustainability through inquiry-based learning in Field of Mars Reserve East Ryde and local Sydney environments. Students examine environmental change, biodiversity, natural processes and human impacts while collecting and interpreting real-world field data. Programs support NSW NESA syllabus outcomes across English, HSIE Geography, PDHPE, HPGE, Creative Arts and Science and Technology.
