Use this page to check availability and book an excursion or incursion with Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre.
Before completing the booking form, please read our frequently asked questions.
A booking form link is located at the bottom of this page. Please note that the centre does not accept tentative bookings.
Book early to secure your preferred date.
If you cannot find a suitable date in the calendar, please email the centre to discuss available options or consider visiting another Environmental Education Centre.

We recommend arranging transport after you have submitted your booking form. Articulated or bendy buses are not suitable for our sites. Please book rigid buses only.
How to book
- Choose your program.
- Check the calendar for available dates.
- Complete the booking form.
- Check the details in your form submission email. This is your booking confirmation.
- Arrange transport.
Before you complete the form
Before completing the booking form, please have the following information ready:
- School name and contact details
- Organiser name, mobile number and email address
- Teacher email addresses for all participating classes
- Program name
- Preferred date and any alternative dates
- Approximate student numbers
- Number of classes and year groups
- Preferred location or site
- Relevant student needs, medical considerations or access requirements

Excursion available – Open for excursions.
Incursion available – Open for incursions or visits within walking distance of your school.
Email us – May be available depending on site, program and staff availability. Email the centre to check.
Fully booked – Unavailable.
HPGE program name – A listed HPGE enrichment program is available on that date.
What happens after submitting a form?
After submitting the booking form, the organising teacher, school email address and participating teachers will receive a submission email with the booking details. This submission email is your booking confirmation.
Please check the details in the submission email carefully and keep the email for your records. The email includes an edit link that can be used to update the booking if required.
The centre will contact the organising teacher if there are any issues with the booking, such as the requested date, location, program, staffing or information provided.
All participating teachers and the school email address will receive reminder emails 5 weeks and 9 days before the scheduled booking date. These emails may include links to relevant program information, risk management information, site details, transport access information, syllabus links and supporting learning resources.
