Stage 2 incursions from Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre bring environmental and sustainability learning to your school for Years 3 and 4 students. These curriculum-aligned creative arts, English and science programs use digital technologies, storytelling and hands-on investigations to explore ecosystems, wellbeing and our connections with the natural environment.

A full-day digital arts incursion where students use iPads to capture images and create digital artworks inspired by nature, textures and patterns in their school grounds or local environments, deepening their connection with nature.

Nature’s gift incursion

English incursions

Documentary in a day incursion

A full-day English incursion where Stage 2 students plan, script, film and review a short documentary about nature or a local topic in their school or community, building skills in planning, speaking, listening and multimodal storytelling.

Poetic adventures incursion

English

Students explore their school and nearby natural areas. They develop tier 2 and 3 environmental vocabulary and create a visual poem from the perspective of a miniature figure using an iPad.
