Develop personal and social skills through outdoor learning. PDHPE programs build cooperation, resilience, leadership and wellbeing strategies using safe, structured activities in natural settings. All programs support the new NSW Personal Development, Health and Physical Education K–6 (2024) syllabus.

Bush magic excursion

Early Stage 1 | PDHPE

Students participate in imaginative outdoor play that builds movement confidence, cooperation and safe participation in natural settings. They practise simple self-management and respectful behaviours while reflecting on feelings and teamwork through guided discussion.

Stage 1 | PDHPE

Students develop fundamental movement and social skills through structured outdoor games that emphasise communication, fair play and teamwork. They reflect on strategies for staying safe, supporting others and managing challenges in a bushland context.

The art of wellbeing excursion

Stage 2 | Creative Arts, PDHPE

Students explore wellbeing by using creative processes to identify emotions, practise calming strategies and build positive connection to place. They communicate reflections through artworks and guided debriefs that link feelings, choices and respectful relationships.

Challenge + excursion

Stage 3 | PDHPE

Students complete team challenges requiring leadership, resilience and problem-solving, then evaluate what helped their group succeed. They practise communication and decision-making strategies and use reflective language to identify strengths and next steps.
