Our teaching staff | Field of Mars EEC
Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre teaching staff are qualified NSW Department of Education teachers with experience across primary, secondary and specialist settings.
Our team designs and delivers curriculum-aligned excursions, incursions, high-potential and gifted education programs, professional learning, digital resources and fact sheets for NSW schools.
Staff bring expertise in environmental education, fieldwork, outdoor learning, sustainability, science, geography, English, creative arts, wellbeing, digital learning, Aboriginal perspectives and inclusive education.
What our team does
Our teachers design and deliver learning experiences that help students investigate real environments, collect evidence, ask questions, solve problems and communicate their understanding.
Programs are delivered in bushland, waterways, urban environments, school grounds and classrooms, with activities adapted to suit syllabus requirements, student needs, site conditions and school contexts.
Our staff also support teachers through professional learning, curriculum-linked resources, social stories, fact sheets and advice about using outdoor learning safely and effectively.
