Program overview
This professional learning event provides primary educators with the opportunity to develop skills and strategies for teaching visual arts activities with their students
Participants will learn strategies to explore the unique urban bushland setting of the Field of Mars Reserve. Working in small groups with professional artists, they will experiment with a range of mediums to create engaging and interesting preliminary works across various mediums, including drawing, textiles and printing.
This course has been created with the support of The Arts Unit.
Facilitator - Sia Cox
This course addresses the following Professional Teaching Standards 1.2.2, 2.1.2, 6.2.2, 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. These hours contribute towards maintaining proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
