The relationship between humans and natural ecosystems is complex. Through history people have shown disregard for natural spaces, however it is not always as clear as complete destruction of an ecosystem. Many human impacts are unintentional, such as bushwalking tracks causing erosion. People can also impact ecosystems positively by studying them, restoring and protecting natural spaces.
