We conduct fieldwork at two sites at Field of Mars Reserve. At each site we compare a range of biotic and abiotic factors.

Study site 1 is located on the south-eastern side of Field of Mars Reserve. It has a diverse layer of ground cover plants and shrubs beneath a eucalptus canopy, with a walking track running through it.
Study site 2 is also located on the south-eastern side of Field of Mars Reserve. It has dense introduced species canopy with limited to no ground cover and shrub plants.
