Working Scientifically

The working scientifically skills outcomes of the Human impacts module in the NSW Earth and Environmental Science Stage 6 Syllabus were a significant factor in the design of this program.

Field of Mars EEC fieldwork is much more than just measuring the environment and facts about plants and animals. It uses the opportunity for data collection to guide genuine scientific thinking.

It is recommended for students to keep track of where they are in their fieldwork and investigations, using the steps and language of the working scientifically skills outcomes diagram.
