Transport | Schools are required to organise transport for students to and from the location. No vehicles are permitted into Field of Mars Reserve. All day parking is available in the car park on Pittwater Road. |

Welfare | Participants will be bushwalking during the day in rugged terrain. Limited wheelchair accessibility. This excursion may not be suitable for people who have recently been unwell. Students will be making and creating artworks. It is recommended that studetns bring art smocks. |
Bring | Backpack, medication, low-waste food, water bottle, sunblock, art smocks, raincoat, hat, sturdy shoes. Students wear reusable name tag and sports uniform. |

Adult support | Teachers and parents are welcome, no preschoolers. Closed shoes essential. |
Medical or special needs | Notify EEC staff prior to excursion. Students, staff and visitors must not attend if unwell, even with mild symptoms. |
Extreme or wet weather | Days predicted to be above 35ºC, high winds, extreme bush fire danger and dust storms may result in the excursion being modified, postponed or cancelled. |
Cancellations | Cancellations with less than four school weeks' notice will be charged the full fee. This does not apply to cancellations due to weather or fire danger. |

This immersive day involves students observing and photographing the environment around the Field of Mars education centre and looking at artist examples of printmaking and mixed media overlay artworks.
Students continue to explore different natural and human elements of their photographs and go on to create a mixed media overlay print in response to this juxtaposition of elements.
They will examine frame, detail, line, position and colour in the process and learn and practise a variety of printmaking and medium effects while creating their artwork.
Media used will include drawing, painting, printing, mixed media, textiles and collage.
Maxium 4 students from one school.
