Apps for Action: Learning Beyond the Classroom 

ES1/Stage 1/2/3/4/5/6 Teachers

Apps for Action: Learning Beyond the Classroom will provide practical and hands-on experience to participants in using a variety of iPad apps to create informative, innovative and engaging communication products.

The development and creation of successful communication products are a requirement of a variety of key learning areas including English, Science and Geography. 

Participants will learn how to effectively integrate the use of mobile technology into teaching and learning programs both inside and outside the classroom.

This course will contribute 2 hours towards NESA elective professional development addressing the following Professional Teaching Standards 2.6.2 & 3.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. These hours contribute towards maintaining proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

Please note: We can create additional sessions to cater for Staff Development Days and after school professional learning events.

Non DoE teachers must register with MyPL first.

DoE Cost: $40 inc GST

Non DoE: $50 inc GST

Includes afternoon tea (site dependant)
