Use this page to check program dates and book places in an Inspire high potential and gifted education enrichment program with Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre.
Inspire HPGE programs are one-day enrichment opportunities for selected Stage 2 and Stage 3 students enrolled in NSW Department of Education schools. Programs are held on selected dates at Field of Mars Reserve.
Before booking, explore the Inspire HPGE enrichment programs, review the relevant program page and check that enough places remain for your students.
Submitting the booking form creates a confirmed booking. The centre does not accept tentative bookings. Schools may initially reserve places using anticipated student numbers and add or update student details later.

How to book
- Choose an Inspire HPGE enrichment program.
- Check the program’s eligibility, cost, activities and essential information.
- Check the listed date and number of places remaining.
- Use the HPGE calendar below to confirm the program date.
- Complete the HPGE booking form. Submit a separate form for students attending a different program date.
- Check the details in your submission email. This email is your booking confirmation.
- Use the edit-submission link in the confirmation email to update student information when required.
Before you complete the form
Before completing the booking form, please have the following information ready:
- school name, phone number and generic school email address
- organising teacher’s name, mobile number and email address
- selected HPGE program and program date
- anticipated number of participating students
- each student’s name and year group
- a responsible adult’s mobile number for each student
- relevant medical, allergy, medication, mobility, sensory, communication, behavioural or learning support information
- permission-to-publish information for each student.
You may submit the booking before every student detail is known. All student information must be accurate and finalised at least seven working school days before the program.
Important booking information
Eligibility and student numbers
Inspire HPGE programs are available to students enrolled in NSW Department of Education schools only.
Most programs are available to Stage 2 and Stage 3 students. Some programs have more specific eligibility requirements, so check the relevant program page before selecting students.
A school may book a maximum of 12 students for each HPGE program day. Bookings are subject to the number of places remaining.
Costs and cancellations
Program costs are listed on each HPGE program page and are processed through each student’s home school.
Cancellations made with less than four weeks notice will incur the full program cost, excluding HPGE programs held during Term 1, Weeks 3–5.
Cancellations due to weather or fire danger do not incur a cancellation charge.
Supervision and student support
Classroom teachers are not required to attend but are welcome.
Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre teachers supervise students throughout the program. Schools must provide a teacher or school learning support officer when a student requires additional assistance to participate safely and successfully.
Schools must provide accurate medical, allergy, medication, emergency contact, collection and support information for every participating student.
What happens after submitting a form?
The organising teacher and generic school email address will receive a submission email containing the booking details and links to relevant program, risk management, location and contact information. This submission email is your booking confirmation.
Check the information carefully and keep the email for your records. It includes an edit-submission link that can be used to add students, update student information or make other changes.
Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre will contact the organising teacher if there are any issues with the booking, including the selected program, date, number of places or information provided.
Reminder emails will be sent to the organising teacher and generic school email address before the program.

The number of places remaining is listed beside each program on the Inspire HPGE enrichment programs page. A program appearing in the calendar does not necessarily mean that enough places remain for your school.
